Junko Mizuno "Deranged" art show

Okay... so Junko's solo show "Deranged" opens up tomorrow at Merry Karnowky Gallery in LA. The exhibit runs July 31- August 28, 2010. Unfortunately I dropped by the website and checked out the online preview. DAMN!

I couldn't resist, I had to pick up one of her sketches! The image was so much fun with all that was going on... I had to! lol

Wish I could have afforded the painting, but that's not in my budget!

I'll hold off on the reveal of which one I bought until it get's here! Something to look forward to! ::winks::

2007 Junko Mizuno "Heart Goblin" soft-sculpture

From the "Heart Throb" show in April 2007 at Merry Karnowsky Gallery in Los Angeles, CA. She showed with fellow artists Miss Van and Aiko Nakagawa.

This is one of the soft sculpture "Heart Goblins" created by Junko herself! Mine is number #18 out of 21. I love it's eyes and the "white icing" looking stuff for it's bangs!

2002 rare SuperFestival 24 FANTASY figure

I scored a NEW SuperFestival 24 "FANTASY" figure by Mizuno! I was so sad to sell off my other one awhile back... but to fix my car, I simply had no choice. I'm excited that this one is still sealed MINT in the bag!

This version was sold ONE DAY ONLY!!! It was in the year 2002 at the super sized toy/hobby show/convention in Japan called SuperFestival!!!

The vinyl figure came with promotional post-card with SD (*super deformed*) anime image of toy. Text is all in Japanese.

This is one expensive SUPER RARE doll... but it's worth it!

2003 Plush Dokuro set w/mini Dokuro

I've NEVER seen another one of these come up for sale! This is the "faux-leather" plushie of DOKURO by Junko Mizuno. It usually comes in a box with clear front for displaying...

Well this one came as a set! A mini Purple "Baby Dokuro-san" vinyl figure was included! The foil sticker on the box is AWESOME! It has the picture of Dokuro and Baby Dokuro's heads on it! lol

The set is from 2003! I feel very lucky to own it!
